Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-01
These Terms govern access to and use of Bassir Corporate Academy Platform (BCAP) (the "Service"), operated by Bassir Technology. By subscribing to or using the Service, the customer organisation ("Customer") and its authorised users agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Bassir Corporate Academy Platform (BCAP) is a multi-tenant software-as-a-service platform for employee development, competency management, corporate learning, and workforce analytics.
Each Customer operates within an isolated tenant workspace. The Customer is responsible for configuring roles, inviting users, and the content it uploads.
2. Accounts and access
Users must provide accurate information and keep their credentials confidential. The Customer's administrators control who may access the workspace and at what permission level.
The Customer is responsible for activity performed under its users' accounts and must promptly disable access for departing personnel.
3. Subscriptions and fees
Access is provided on a subscription basis according to the plan selected (including any seat limits and feature entitlements). Fees, billing cycle, and applicable taxes (including VAT where applicable) are presented at checkout.
Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for successive terms until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable use
Customers and users must not misuse the Service, including attempting to breach tenant isolation or security, uploading unlawful content, or infringing others' rights.
The Customer must ensure it has the necessary rights and lawful basis for any personal data it processes through the Service.
5. Data ownership
The Customer retains ownership of the data it and its users submit. The operator processes that data only to provide and support the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing terms.
6. Availability and support
The operator aims to provide a reliable Service but does not warrant uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance and any applicable service levels are communicated separately.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. The operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Term and termination
Either party may terminate as set out in the subscription agreement. On termination, the Customer may export its data for a limited period, after which it is deleted in line with the retention policy.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes are subject to its competent courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
